Hampshire police have seized and destroyed a number of knives they believe were being used as weapons after carrying of a closure order in Woolston.

Officers enforced a full closure order in Victoria Road after magistrates found the order to be necessary to prevent the continuation of disorder and criminal offences at the address, and serious nuisance to members of the public.

During a search of the property, officers discovered a range of knives that were seized for destruction.
