Pictures show progress of the demolition of several eyesore blocks of flats in Southampton.
Demolition of the blocks in Townhill Park, that have remained untouched since 2011and fallen into severe disrepair, began in September.
The scheme has taken more than 13 years to get off the ground but the city council has now said that progress is steady and progressing.

Bulldozer teams from Hampshire Environmental Services Ltd are currently in the process of tearing down the dilapidated blocks for new homes to replace them.
At the start of November, the council said that it has selected housing provider, Abri, to deliver up to 189 homes at plot one – which includes parts of Benhams Road, Meggeson Avenue, Hallet Close, and Cutbush Lane.
The broader regeneration plan in Townhill Park aims to replace outdated council housing with over 600 new energy-efficient homes.
