Residents of a Fareham care home marked Armistice Day with a moment of reflection.
The Fernes Care Home fell silent at 11am, joining the rest of the UK in honouring the day when World War I hostilities ceased.
The commemoration took place on November 11, the day the armistice was signed.
Residents wore poppies, observed a national two-minute silence, and engaged in various activities.
These included crafting felt poppies, reading poems, and participating in a wartime singalong led by a woman named Nathalie.
Alina Danetiu, general manager at The Fernes Care Home, said: "We have many residents with personal ties to the military and many who have experienced conflict either at home or abroad so it was important to us to mark November 11th and honour the contribution of everyone involved in the World Wars and in subsequent conflicts."
The home, operated by Barchester Healthcare, provides residential, dementia, and respite care, and is committed to delivering high-quality care across its facilities.
