Freezing temperatures have swept across the city and with much of the country being hit with ice and snow - but could Southampton see snow this week?
From today, November 20, Southampton is to experience three days of near-freezing conditions.
The Met Office has forecast that today will be around 6C, Thursday will see highs of 4C and Friday 6C – with all three days seeing lows of -1C.
A Met Office spokesperson has said the prospect of snow is likely with temperatures below freezing during the night.

The spokesperson said: “Thursday staying cold and cloudier with outbreaks of rain, probably mainly across southern areas, chance of sleet and snow, mostly affecting hills.”
For those planning to drive this week, the AA have issued some safety advice to Southampton drivers.
Chris Wood, AA Patrol of the Year, said: “If you do need to travel, reduce your speed for the conditions and leave plenty of space behind vehicles.
“Try to use main roads as these are more likely to have been gritted.”
