Snow has hit Southampton and Hampshire this morning - and pictures from our readers show the beginnings of a winter wonderland.
Despite having the warmest climate in the UK, the south coast has finally been stuck by flurries of wind and snow as temperatures dropped to 1C.
Roof tops across the city and beyond have been covered with a fine layer of the white stuff.
Some residents have even collected enough snow to create a mini-snowman and have a snow ball fight.
