A highly anticipated Christmas market has been cancelled ahead of the arrival of a storm.
The festive event at Itchen Valley Country Park will not be taking place on Saturday or Sunday.
It was set to be the first Christmas market held at the park, boasting local makers, Southampton Ukulele Jam, face painting, and more.
Storm Bert is expected to sweep in this weekend, bringing high winds and heavy rain.

Announcing the news on social media, the team at the country park said: “Due to expected high winds this weekend, we have made the decision to cancel our Christmas Market for the safety of our visitors and stall holders.
“All our trails will be closed this weekend. Our Festive Trail will be open for all the family to enjoy from Monday, November 25.”
It comes after the annual Christmas lights switch-on event in Romsey was cancelled by the town council.
The popular event was due to take place on Saturday, but the lights will now be switched on over the weekend without an event to mark it.
