The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:

ANDREW WARNER, 21, of Norley Wood Road, Hampshire, admitted drink driving in Norley Wood Road on September 21. He was caught with 49 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. He was banned from driving for one year and two months and he must pay a fine of £450. He must also pay prosecution costs of £85 and a surcharge of £180.

BENJAMIN BEUZEVAL, 38, of Dowling Crecent, Ampfield, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a breath specimen for analysis in Southampton on September 21. He was given an interim disqualification and will next appear before court on January 15.

SEAN MAHAKA, 30, of Archers Road, Sourthampton, admitted to being in possession of cannabis on September 16 Southampton. A forfeiture and destruction order for the Class B drug was made and he must pay a fine of £53.

ALBERT PHILLIPS, 30, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to stealing three cosmetic gift sets worth £130 and two electric toothbrushes worth £80 from Boots on Above Bar Street, Southampton on November 4. He was remanded on conditional bail and will next appear in court on January 17, 2025.

HARLEY DUNCAN, 18, of Stanmore Lane, Winchester, admitted being in possession of two grams of herbal cannabis in Winchester on July 31. A forfeiture and destruction order for the Class B drug was made and he must pay a fine of £80. He must also pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £32 surcharge.

RICHARD WRATE, 31, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to beating a police sergeant at Davis Field in New Milton on January 24, stealing food worth £14.30 from Tesco in New Milton on January 17, and stealing an iPhone 14 Plus and bank cards from a man at Tesco Express in New Milton on January 17. He will appear at Southampton Crown Court to be sentenced on December 16.
