A boy was punched in the face after a group of teenagers demanded he hand over his headphones.
At around 6.20pm on Monday, November 11, the victim – aged 15 – was walking along Archery Road when he was approached by three other male teens.
He refused to hand over his AirPods when asked, and they punched him.
Two members of the public who were driving past at the time intervened and gave the victim a lift home, but no details of these people are known.
Three males, aged 14, 16 and 16 and all from Southampton, were arrested on suspicion of robbery.
They have been released on bail until February 11, 2025, while further enquiries are carried out.
