A man who was punched by two men who stole his wallet and phone then made an eight-mile trip home on foot.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was walking through the St Mary’s and Northam areas of Southampton between 2am and 3am on Saturday.
He was heading towards the Northam Bridge when he was approached by two men.
The men punched him before stealing his wallet and phone.
The victim does not recall the exact road he was robbed on.

He then walked from Northam Bridge to his home in the Park Gate area.
Officers are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: “We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or saw the victim on his route home.
“If anyone has information or relevant dash cam, doorbell or other CCTV footage, please call 101 quoting reference 44240510479.
