The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:
JASON KING, 50, of The Avenue, Southampton, pleaded guilty to stealing a £9.99 crate of Stella beer from Lidl in Southampton on August 10 2024. Also pleaded guilty to two counts of stealing candles from Next, attempting to damage a police vehicle, and assaulting an emergency worker. Remanded on conditional bail to appear at the same court on January 24 2025.
CHARLIE BENNETT, 27, of Welland Green, Southampton, pleading guilty to assaulting emergency worker in Southampton on September 29 2024. Also pleaded guilty to failing to comply with sex offenders' register requirements. Remanded in custody until December 5 2024.
GERRY CONNORS, 22, of Shop Lane, Bursledon, pleaded guilty to driving dangerously in Southampton on November 17 2024. Also pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and driving without insurance. Remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Crown Court on December 9 2024.
LYEZ BENALI, 22, of Lavender Close, Southampton, pleaded guilty to racially/religiously aggravated harrassment/alarm/distress in Leicester on November 6 2023. Remanded on conditional bail until December 10 2024.
OCTAVIAN LESCAIE, 32, of Robert Cecil Avenue, Southampton, pleaded guilty to drug driving at St Andrew's Road, Southampton, on April 5 2024. Banned from driving for 17 months, fined £200 with £85 costs and £80 victim services surcharge.
JERRY GOODRUM, 56, of Rowner Lane, Gosport, pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a woman aged 16 or over in Southampton on June 9 2024. Also pleaded guilty to assaulting a male on same date. Two-year community order, fined £40, and told to pay a total of £300 compensation to victims.
JASON DONNELLY, 54, of Oxford Street, Southampton, pleaded guilty to stealing two bottles of Johnny Walker whisky, together valued at £73.50, from John Lewis PLC. Six-month conditional discharge.
