A man accused of attempting to rape a teenager in broad daylight will stand trial next year.
Joshua Bennett, 34, of Lydgate Road, Southampton, was charged with attempted kidnap and attempted rape.
A 14-year-girl was attacked in Sullivan Road, Sholing shortly after 8am on October 25.
The girl was not physically injured and is being supported, police previously said.

The incident sparked widespread shock and concern amongst residents living in the area.
Bennett, who denies the charges, will stand trial at Southampton Crown Court on April 22.
