A Yellow weather warning has been issued in Southampton as the city is expected to be battered by rain through the night and on Wednesday.
The city is expected to be hit with heavy showers from 10pm tonight until 12am tomorrow and residents are being warned.
Drivers are being advised to allow extra time for journeys and the Met Office has said that flooding in some homes and business could be possible.
Disruption to public transport is also likely as roads could become flooded through the night.
