An 11-year-old boy was reportedly held at knifepoint by another schoolboy at a popular skate park.
Police were called to Fareham’s Park Lane skate park at 3pm on Monday, which is by Leigh Road, Miller Drive and Byron Close.
A police spokesperson said they received reports that it was another schoolboy who held the knife to the child.
The victim was not harmed and left the area shortly afterwards. No arrests have been made at this time.
Fareham Leisure Centre overlooks the skate park and surrounding recreational areas.
There were concerns that, due to the incident unfolding on the field behind the building, the centre would have had to close during the incident.

Ryan Grant, contract manager at Everyone Active who run Fareham Leisure Centre, confirmed that this was not the case.
Mr Grant said: “We were aware of police presence on the park near to Fareham Leisure Centre, on Monday 25 November, but were not alerted of any incident. We remained open and operated as normal.”
However, the reported incident did cause Harrison Primary School – situated a seven minute walk away from the skate park – to post an urgent message on Facebook.
They did not let children walk home alone and asked parents to collect all children “quickly.”

Harrison Primary School said: “We will keep children at school today until they are collected.”
The message was also posted on the school’s website as an urgent pop-up.
Fareham skate park is positioned next to a play area and outdoor gym and is one of five skate or BMX parks in the borough run by Fareham Borough Council.
Police continue to speak to all parties involved to establish a full picture as to what happened in the reported knife-wielding incident.
