A popular food festival is set to return to Netley.
The Big Eat will take place at Royal Victoria Country Park for the fourth year running. The festival will run for three days, from May 24 to 26.
Free to attend, the festival is a celebration of local food and talent, with all profits going to local food banks. Live music and entertainment will be available for all ages, including a silent disco, petting zoo, and dog show.
The festival is sponsored by motor group Snows Toyota for the second year. Excitement is already building for 2025, with more than 425 street food and drink vendors applying to be part of the festival.
The competition to secure a pitch is fierce, as vendors from across the region aim to showcase their offerings to tens of thousands of festival goers.
Director of the Big Eat CIC Jeremy Gaskin said: "The Big Eat has now established itself as a much-loved annual event that sees the community come together to celebrate good food and have good fun.
"Seeing people from all walks of life enjoying food for a good cause is a great feeling and sums up why we founded the festival. It has been growing each year since our first event back in 2022 thanks to incredible support from the public and our team of dedicated volunteers.
"We can’t wait to experience another incredible weekend with you all."
Last year, the festival attracted 28,000 people.
It will be free to attend, with all profits going to local food banks.
