New Milton Town Council marked National Tree Week by planting trees across the town.
Between November 23 and December 1, three commemorative trees were planted in New Milton War Memorial Recreation Ground.
They mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day, and the upcoming VE80 and VJ80 anniversaries in 2025.
Cllr Geoff Blunden, chairman of the amenities committee, said "I am delighted that the Plant a Tree Initiative resonates with people, unlocking that affinity we have with trees, as they, and nature, continue to inspire us. Thank you to everyone who has supported our efforts in planting trees.
"It's wonderful to see such community involvement and commitment to environmental sustainability, helping in our fight against climate change and enhancing our biodiversity."
The council plans to plant a further 136 trees this season as part of its tree planting programme.
The "Plant a Tree Initiative" allows the public to buy and plant trees to help maintain the town's greenery.
