An Eastleigh company has received a 'bronze' accreditation for its social value work.
ActiveMe 360 has been awarded the Level 1 Quality Mark by Social Value Quality Mark CIC.
The firm is the first in Hampshire to receive this award, which recognises businesses for their social impact and value.
To achieve this, ActiveMe 360 had to show a clear plan for managing social value and ensuring its long-term sustainability.
This accreditation is the first of four levels, each marking a higher standard of social value measurement, development, and reporting.
The standards are said to be among the toughest in the UK.
The company also had to commit to various initiatives, including skills development, employment, health and wellbeing, investing in local communities, and carbon reduction.
Richard Dickins, managing director of Social Value Quality Mark CIC, said: "Customers, investors and jobseekers increasingly place their loyalty with organisations who deliver clear social and environmental benefits.
"The Quality Mark separates, distinguishes and celebrates those businesses who are genuinely committed to making the world a fairer place. We are pleased that ActiveMe 360 is joining the growing number of companies making this commitment."
Will Atterbury, managing director of ActiveMe 360, said: "Achieving the Bronze Social Value Quality Mark is just the first step in our ongoing commitment to doing more for the communities we work in.
"As a proud social enterprise, we’ve been reinvesting at least 65 per cent of our profits into local communities since 2018, but the pledges we’ve developed over the past 12 months will ensure we continue to evolve and consider other ways we can leave a positive and valuable legacy on the local communities we work with."
In January 2025, ActiveMe 360 will publish its pledges and their key value indicators (KVIs) on its website.
This will be done using an online analysis tool to track the progress of each KVI impact.
The company will share a report annually and plans to apply for the silver Quality Mark later in 2025.
The Quality Mark aims to uphold the highest standards in values-led business and helps organisations align with current legislation.
