A wealth management firm has announced a new three-year partnership with two UK charities.
The Quilter Foundation, the charity arm of Southampton-based Quilter, has teamed up with Meals & More and Feeding Britain.
The partnership was celebrated on November 28 with a Christmas light switch-on event.
Meals & More supports holiday clubs, providing meals and activities for children. With the new funding, it will deliver more than 106,000 meals to nearly 7,000 children.
Feeding Britain runs community food clubs, offering low-cost meals and advice services. The new partnership will allow the charity to support seven more community food clubs.
Steven Levin, chief executive officer of Quilter, said: "As a business dedicated to building brighter financial futures, we recognise that a child’s future starts with the basics – having enough to eat.
"I am delighted that The Quilter Foundation is partnering with two incredible charities, Meals & More and Feeding Britain. Together, we’re addressing the immediate challenge of child hunger, while giving the next generation a strong foundation to reach their full potential."
Quilter employees will volunteer with both charities, aiding in food deliveries and holiday clubs.
Quilter, employing over 1,100 people in its Southampton office, is one of the city's largest employers.
