A new electric vehicle charging hub has opened at M&S.
The 'bp pulse' charging hub at the New Milton store features six rapid 50kW bays.
The move is part of a broader rollout, with seven new hubs planned and four already operational in M&S stores across the UK.
Keith Caufield-Lawrence, store manager at M&S New Milton said: "It’s fantastic to be part of the latest wave of M&S stores in the UK to offer a bp pulse charging hub.
"We’ve seen more and more of our customers driving electric cars so now we’ll be able to make shopping all that bit easier by providing a convenient charging spot while customers stock up on those all-important M&S essentials! We’re so excited for customers to start using it."
Valerio Ferro, general manager at bp pulse UK, said: "The opening of our EV charging hub at the M&S store in New Milton is a great addition to our strategic rollout programme."
Since 2005, M&S and BP have collaborated, initially with the opening of the first M&S Food store at a BP retail site.
Today, BP pulse charging bays, all with M&S convenience stores, are available at over 150 BP retail sites.
M&S's Plan A commitment targets becoming a net-zero business by 2040.
