A Chandler's Ford firm has pledged to support a dementia charity.
HWB Chartered Accountants has chosen Dementia Support Hampshire & IOW as its charity of the year.
The firm plans fundraising activities starting with a staff bake-off and an online gaming competition.
Audit senior Callum Green, who lost a grandparent to Alzheimer’s, said he wanted to support a dementia care charity.
Mr Green said: "I know from my own family’s experience just how important it is to have advice and support available.
"Dementia Support Hampshire & IOW does just that, providing essential emotional support, information and onward signposting to services.
"I feel glad and encouraged that the firm I work for has chosen them as our next charity of the year."
Other initiatives will include sponsored events linked to the firm's 40th anniversary in the summer.
