Steve Power at Breakfast - the south’s most listened radio breakfast show across the past two decades – is returning to Nation Radio South in the New Year.
From Monday, January 6, Steve is set to return to Nation Radio’s weekday breakfast between 6am and 9am.
The radio DJ veteran is set to bring the latest news for Hampshire and the south, the most up to date travel from Selina Ross and popular features including Retro TV and Forgotten 45.
Sadness was felt across much of the south after it was announced in February that Wave 105 would be merging with Greatest Hits Radio after 25 years on air.
DJs such as Steve Power, who had been with Wave 105 since its inception, were axed under the Greatest Hits Radio merger.

In a shock move, Steve joined Wave’s long-term rival, Nation Radio - to the delight of many radio listeners.
Mark Collins, one of the region’s longest serving presenters, is also set to return to his daily morning slot from 9am.
Collins had previously hosted the show for nearly two decades on recently closed Wave 105.
Steve Power said: “Listeners deserve a breakfast show from the South for the South.
“I'm delighted to return to a time of the day I know well.
“Since joining Nation Radio along with my long time co-host Selina Ross, we have a renewed love for radio and can't wait to bring Steve Power at Breakfast back to radio in the South.”
Mark Collins said: “I can’t wait to be back on the radio across the South on the show I love doing best. I’ll have great songs, The Golden Hour at 9am and our fiendishly tricky quiz, the Weekday Link, back at 11.15 - love it or hate it.”
Nation Radio South can be heard across the South on 106FM and 106.6 FM, on DAB in Hampshire, Dorset, West Sussex and the Isle of Wight.
