Police have released a 37-year-old who was arrested after officers were told a man was peering over a wall and watching pupils in a school playground.
Last week police said a man was seen by a member of the public "acting suspiciously and watching students over a wall' outside Freemantle Church of England School on Mansion Road.
A 37-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of outraging public decency.
But on Tuesday police said that the man has been released with no further action following the report on November 28.

A police spokesperson said: "Following a thorough, and robust, investigation, we can confirm that he has since been released and no further action taken against him.
"We would like to just further reiterate that while it is incredibly important that members of the public report suspicious incidents to the police when they occur, we would ask that you do not further speculate online or take matters into your own hands as this could compromise any ongoing investigation.
"Officers will continue to conduct high visibility patrols in and around the vicinity of the school, both at drop off and pick up times, so should any parents be concerned we would ask them to speak to one of our officers directly."
