Emergency services were called to reports of a fire at a mental health facility on Tuesday morning.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service received reports of a fire shortly before 10am on Tuesday, December 3.
Upon arrival, a crew from St Mary’s fire station discovered the incident related to a mobile phone that had been on fire,.
It was out by the time emergency services arrived at the scene.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, said: “This incident relates to a mobile phone that was on fire. The fire was out on our arrival.
“The initial call came in at 9.41am (Tuesday, December 3) and was attended by firefighters from St Mary’s.”
