DADS and their kids are invited to have a FREE tour of Southampton Football Ground.
They will be treated to a guided tour including a look at the players’ dressing room and the boardroom as well as a chance to win match day tickets.
The event is part of a free twohour workshop for dads that is being organised by Hampshire parent support charity Parentline Plus.
The workshop will include fun IT-based activities for the kids while dads can learn about ways of helping children learn through the Internet while staying safe.
Julie Turley, parent support co-ordinator at Parentline Plus in Hampshire said: “We don’t get as many calls from dads as we do from mums so hopefully this football themed event will encourage more dads to come along and find out about our free services.
“Many parents finds that when they do come along to our events, they really enjoy being able to chat to other parents – swap tips and ideas and generally have an opportunity to let off steam.”
Tickets are still available for the two workshops that will be held during half-term on October 29 at 6pm and on November 1 at 10am at Southampton Football Club, St Mary’s Stadium, Britannia Road, Southampton.
Booking is essential as only one child can be admitted per dad. To book a place on one of the above free session, open to dads/ male carers and children aged seven to 14, or to find out more about Parentline Plus services call 023 8064 5900.
