A SOUTHAMPTON bridal shop that shut down last summer suddenly re-opened as remaining stock was sold off.
Mystery surrounds who decided to reopen Perfect Days on Saturday after it shut in July leaving brides-to-be without their wedding dresses.
The Southampton High Street shop opened from 10am to 4pm with reductions of up to 50 per cent on wedding dresses, morning suits, bridesmaid dresses and ball gowns.
A sign hanging in the shop window read: “Please note that items in this shop are being sold on behalf of the landlord. Any disputes with Perfect Days Bridalwear Ltd cannot be settled by the landlord.”
The shop remained busy on Saturday afternoon as women flocked to the shop to cash in on the reduced dresses.
A man operating the till refused to say whether he was the shop’s previous owner John Iacobucci and said he had been asked by the landlord to sell off the remaining stock.
