A TEENAGE girl was sexually assaulted by a stranger as she walked home from a New Year’s Eve party.
The 18-year-old was dragged into an alley by her attacker who then sexually assaulted her before running off in the early hours of January 1 on the Isle of Wight.
The girl, who had been walking home from a private party along Spencer Road in Ryde, called police from the alley in Copsefield Drive immediately after the attack, which took place around 1.30pm.
The attacker is described as white, in his mid 20s with mousy brown hair brushed forward and a loop earring.
Following the attack he ran off in the direction of Ryde town centre.
The victim was wearing a black dress, dark jacket and high heels.
