BAH humbug!! It might not look like she’s having a ball, but 18-month-old Edna loved getting into the spirit and dressing up to take part in the Daily Echo’s hunt for Hampshire’s most festive pet.
Owner Marie McMullan, from Warsash, dressed up her Dogue de Bordeaux in a Santa hat to enter her into the contest.
“She loved it,” said Marie. “My children are always dressing her up and she loves the attention.”
Edna joins the scores of other dogs, cats, tortoises, hamsters and guinea pigs who have already donned Father Christmas hats and tinsel to take part.
