RESIDENTS in one Hampshire town are being urged to have their say on its future.
Fareham residents are being invited to take part in a six-week consultation that outlines changes due to be made within the town over the next 12 months.
There will be 12 planning topic papers to cast an eye over, including broad proposals for the Strategic Development Area, Daedalus, Coldeast and the town centre.
They focus on issues such as employment, transport, housing, retail, natural environment and community facilities.
The full topic papers will be available from Fareham Borough Council’s website, local libraries and the civic offices, from January 19 until February 23.
Councillor David Swanbrow, executive member for planning and transportation, pictured left, said: “Making sure that our residents know what is being suggested for the different areas of the borough is extremely important.
This six-week consultation gives our residents the chance to both find out what is being suggested and to give their views on these.
“It’s crucially important that people tell us what they think.”
