BIFF Baff Boff has bounced onto the timetable at a Hampshire campus.
And 26 music students at Fareham College are hoping to burst into the pop charts with I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here stars David Van Day and Timmy Mallett.
As revealed by the Daily Echo, Hampshire based producer Barry Upton was asked to produce Biff Baff Boff – the jungle jingle conjured up by the two colourful contestants.
Van Day called old friend Barry – responsible for turning Steps into an overnight chart sensation with Five, Six, Seven, Eight – from the Australian outback to enlist his help.
The former star of 80s band Dollar – pictured inset with Barry – popped into Barry’s recording studios at Shirrell Heath to lay down tracks which he believes could be a smash hit.
Nathan Newman, aged 17, said: “It was awesome to be asked to take part in making the record. I am hoping that it will go to number one and then I can tell all my friends that I am on it.”
