THE SOUNDS of one of south coast clubbing’s biggest brands are to be broadcast on the Internet with the software of Southampton-based media company HD Music.

Slinky.fm is a CD quality, 24 hours a day online radio launched to take the musical style of the Bournemouth based club, pictured, to a global audience.

Already listeners from 52 countries have enjoyed more than 2,000 hours of broadcast on a beta version of the software, which has its full launch on slinky.fm on January 31.

Richard Skaife, managing director for Slinky said: “Slinky.fm is an exciting joint venture between ourselves and HD music who are a forward-thinking broadcast and media company. We are delighted and excited to bring the sound of Slinky to our own 24 hour a day radio channel, broadcasting from studios in the UK. Once fully launched Slinky.fm will take in the sounds of the dancefloors on a global basis.”
