LIKE the rest of us this little lamb knows how to keep the winter chill at bay – wear a jumper!
And that’s just what this cutie is doing after having a rather frosty reception into the world.
Not only was he born in sub-zero conditions early in the lambing season, but he was also abandoned by his mother.
The Hampshire farm where he was born did not have the time to hand rear the little lamb, who was appropriately named Jack Frost.
So he was donated to Manor Farm Country Park, Bursledon, where he has certainly landed on his hooves thanks to being lovingly reared by staff and volunteers.
Now little Jack Frost enjoys being bottle fed milk – appropriately from the farm’s own Jersey cows – and he even has his own woolly jumper to keep out the cold.
The farm is open every Sunday from 10am until 4pm where visitors can not only meet little Jack Frost but also get involved in Victorian school lessons.
