It comes after two fatal collisions took place on the Totton to Hardley road last summer.
In August Terry Stubbs, 29, and 11-year-old step daughter Channon Kevern, both of Fawley were killed in a collision with a car between Hythe and Hardley.
The following month 51-year-old Tim Reynolds, of Whittington Close, Hythe died at the junction of the A326 and Twiggs Lane, Marchwood.
Today their relatives handed over the 2,500 name petition from residents.
They have been promised that a raft of measures will be implemented on the route in the near future.
