Mums and dads in Winchester buggy dash for charity
DOZENS of parents braved the wet weather yesterday to line up for the start of the 2009 Winchester buggy push.
The charity event saw mums and dads push their little ones round a two-kilometre course starting and ending at Winchester Rugby Club.
All of the proceeds were donated to Babies And Breastfeeding Information Encouragement Support (BABIES), a weekly breastfeeding drop-in group held at the city’s Lanterns Children’s Centre.
