DARING Sharon Knight is the latest to bare almost all in the hunt for the south’s very own Calendar Girls.

Husband Brian took the photograph of Sharon, 46, working in the study of their home in Shirley, Southampton, after she suggested they enter the competition to launch the arrival of the Calendar Girls stage show at The Mayflower in Southampton on March 2.

Sharon, who works in the library at Southampton Solent University, enjoyed being a Calendar Girl.

She said: “It was quite funny and I enjoyed it. I liked the film and I am looking forward to seeing the show too.”

Teaming up with Southampton’s Mayflower theatre, we are asking women across Hampshire to send in pictures of themselves imitating the famous Women’s Institute calendar that inspired the hugely successful movie starring Dame Helen Mirren.

A group of winners will be invited to the first night at The Mayflower followed by the chance to recreate the promotional shot for the hotly anticipated production.

The overall winner will scoop a pair of tickets to see the star-studded opening night of Calendar Girls in London’s West End on Monday, April 20.

The package for two will include tickets to the Noel Coward Theatre, travel, a spa afternoon and overnight stay.
