A GANG of youths mugged a man in his 50s after pretending they needed his help.
The man was getting off a bus in Botley Road, Romsey, when the four approached him and asked him to help them.
He followed them into Elm Tree Gardens and took his phone out to call his wife.
One of the youths snatched his phone and they knocked the man down when he tried to fight back.
The four then ran off along Botley Road.
One man was in his early 20s, with short dark hair, pale complexion, about 5ft 10in and thin. He was wearing a smart white long-sleeved top.
A second offender is described as white, in his early 20s, tall and he was wearing a grey-hooded top.
The victim could not describe the other two youths.
