POLICE in Hampshire are hunting for three thugs who left a teenager unconscious after an unprovoked attack.
The 17-year-old and a friend aged 18 were assaulted and robbed as they walked past the entrance to the recreation ground in Lawn Road, Eastleigh.
The three men approached the two friends in an aggressive manner, before knocking one to the ground, leaving him unconscious, and punching the other in the face, demanding cash.
The 18-year-old handed over £20 and the men ran off.
One victim was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment to his face, neck and head. The other suffered bruising to his face and head.
All three men were described as being white and aged between 18 and 21. One was 6ft, of an average build, with short blond hair. The second was 5ft 7in, of a slim build, with flat black gelled hair. The third was 5ft 7in and had brown hair.
