SAINTS legend Matt Le Tissier accepted a £20,000 cheque on behalf of a Hampshire children’s hospice.
The former footballer visited Naomi House near Winchester to receive the funds from Co-operative Food Stores, who raised the money at branches across the south of England.
Le Tissier is already of a patron of Jack’s Place – the hospice’s bid to build a new £12m unit at its Sutton Scotney site.
