The top-box adds to the standard machine’s already impressive load-carrying potential, thanks to the panniers which come as standard, while the ABS option offers further peace of mind for optimal braking in all weather conditions.

The Deauville is available at £6,287 for the standard model and £6,679 for the ABS equipped version.

Honda’s XL1000V Varadero has provided 996cc V-twin powered versatility and comfort for a decade and is now available for 2009 in a striking Barley Yellow Metallic.

The standard machine retails at £6,825 with the added assurance of ABS available at £7,364.The long-serving XL700VA Transalp is another adventure bikers’ favourite, having first entered Honda’s range in 1987.

The new in 2008 model featured a host of updates including greater power from the enlarged 680cc 52-degree V-twin as well as the introduction of ABS as standard.

The Transalp retails at £5,504, with 2009 seeing a striking new tri-colour paint scheme with gold wheels, also available in the ‘Brave The Elements’ offer.
