SNOW has thrown Hampshire’s train network into chaos.
Southern and South West Trains are advising passengers not to travel unless their journey is absolutely essential.
The following service will apply although precise timetable details are not available at the moment:
SOUTH WEST TRAINS
- One train every two hours is operating between Southampton Central and London Waterloo. Passengers travelling towards Bournemouth, Poole and Weymouth will need to change trains at Southampton.
- One train will run every hour between Southampton Central and Portsmouth Harbour.
- One train will run every hour between Southampton Central and Weymouth.
- One train will run every hour between Eastleigh and Portsmouth Harbour.
- One train will run every hour between Basingstoke and Portsmouth Harbour.
SOUTHERN
- Southern services are currently suspended on all routes between Three Bridges and central London.
- On the West Coast line, two trains per hour will run between Southampton and Brighton, but will not call at Littlehampton.
GATWICK EXPRESSS
- Gatwick Express services are currently running half hourly from London Victoria and Gatwick Airport, but services will not run through to Brighton.
