IT was all systems go at Southampton Airport after the Arctic conditions wreaked havoc with timetables.
The runways and taxiways were reopened at 11.45 am after a massive snow clearing operation.
Ten early morning flights - departing and incoming - involving Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast, Brussels and Paris had to be cancelled. There were also delays to 50 other flights.
A airport spokesperson said: "We are very happy to say that the runways are now open and we are starting to catch up again."
Passengers are being rebooked for later in the day or in the week.
They are being asked to check in normal or contact their airline if they have any concerns.
