A SCHEME to give homeless Hampshire people computer skills was the subject of a visit from the Minister for the Cabinet Office.
Liam Byrne toured Jamie’s Computers – a social enterprise arm of charity Society of St James.
He chatted to staff and clients who are learning website development skills and finding out how to repair and build computers.
Mr Byrne said: “Jamie’s have really hit on a formula that has been fantastically successful.
“It’s a formula that’s really worked and I think other parts of the country have got a lot to learn from it.”
