Man arrested in dawn raid
A MAN was arrested this morning in a dawn raid as part of a crackdown on suspected loan sharks.
Police officers and officers from the illegal money lending team executed the raid at an address in the Millbrook area of the city.
It is the first time since the team was established in Birmingham that a raid has been carried out in the city.
The man was arrested by officers at the address at Cumbrian Way following the raid at 6.15am today.
He was later released without charge.
