A SCHEME aimed at getting motorists to slow down near schools has been taken up by 210 schools across Hampshire.
Hampshire County Council’s ’20 is Plenty’ project aims to educate drivers to reduce their speed to 20mph when travelling near to a school, particularly at the start and end of the school day.
As part of the scheme, special "20 is Plenty" road signs are installed close to their school, prompting the reduction in speed.
