AROUND 200 Eastleigh residents have been left without running water tonight due to a burst water main.
The pipe burst on Fair Oak Road in Bishopstoke around 3pm and engineers switched off the supply at around 7.30pm to carry out a repair.
Residents up to a mile away have been left without running water with some having to buy bottled water from nearby shops.
A spokesman for Southern Water said engineers are hoping to have the problem fixed by 10.30pm tonight.
