FREAK wintry weather has hit Hampshire this morning bringing ice, sleet and snowfalls of up to 10cms.
Police have issued a warning to drivers after the snow and ice brought chaos to many of the county's roads.
Traffic along the A31, the main route linking Bournemouth and Southampton, with drivers warned to avoid the area.
Heavy snow and an accident at Stoney Cross has caused major delays on the route.
Snow is also falling in Winchester, Stockbridge, the New Forest and Fordingbridge, as well as parts of Southampton.
The weather comes a month after the south was crippled by the worst snow in 20 years.
Then, roads, rail links and airports were closed and thousands of school children were given extra days off when their schools were shut.
