TWO hardy youngsters will attempt to run up one of the UK’s tallest peaks for charity.
Keen runners Klara, 10, and Lucas Lyne, 8, both pupils at Kings Worthy Primary School, are hoping to run the final 5km to the summit of Mount Snowdon for Comic Relief.
Dad Marc said that the youngsters will be in for a shock when they arrive in Wales on Saturday: “Lucas asked me how far the run was and then said Snowdon ‘was only a hill’! They compare it to the mountains they see in France. To them this is just a little one.”
The children, of St Mary’s Close, Kings Worthy, hope to raise more than £500. To sponsor Klara and Lucas, visit justgiving.com/runsnowdon.
