Visit the Fair Trade stall
FAIRTRADE customers in Southampton have been helping to set a new world record for eating the most bananas.
Staff, customers and volunteers at The Fair Trade Shop in Shirley have been eating the fruit as part of a campaign to make sure half of all bananas sold in the UK are Fairtrade produce. Today a Fair Trade market stall will be at the Bargate in Southampton joining in the effort.
