A SOUTHAMPTON man with a hatred for his former partner’s family deliberately crashed into three of their vehicles – and then told the police what he had done.
Duncan Wilson, 26, first targeted Nicola Hayter, ramming her parked car which had to be written off.
He then drove to the home of her father, Clive, where he rammed his van with such force it went through a garden fence and damaged a shed.
He then came across her brother, Richard, in Testwood Lane, Totton, where he stopped before reversing into his van three times while he was inside. It was also written off.
Wilson then discovered his own van was so badly damaged it couldn’t move and walked to the police station where he gave himself up.
Wilson, of Brook Walk, Southampton, admitted four counts of causing damage and one of driving dangerously.
He was jailed for 12 months and banned from driving for two years with an order to take an extensive retest after its completion.
