Andover War Memorial Hospital.
THE outbreak of suspected norovirus lingers in hospitals in two Hampshire hospitals. Numbers remain static with 11 patients showing symptoms of the virus at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester and Andover War Memorial.
Kingfisher ward remains closed to new admissions in Andover, although there is just one inpatient with symptoms. The ward will not reopen until all signs of the bug have gone.
Visitors are still being asked to stay away but outpatients and day surgery are operating normally.
