Southampton International Airport
STAFF at Southampton Airport are celebrating after being named the most helpful and courteous in Europe for the second year on the trot.
The award has been given by Airports Council International following a survey of more than 200,000 passengers worldwide.
The survey measures passengers’ views on more than 30 aspects of service that they have experienced at the airport from check-in through to the departure gate.
More than 100 airports from around the world took part in the airport survey. Southampton also took second place in the Best Airport in Europe Award and fifth in the global competition for the Best Airport in the fewer than 5m passengers a year category.
