POLICE swooped on a huge cannabis factory today seizing van loads of drugs and equipment.
It took officers and forensics teams around six hours to empty the house of cannabis plants, soil, pots, lighting and fans.
The Daily Echo understands that four people lived in the house in Shirley Road, Southampton.
Neighbours said police officers arrived and guarded the house from the small hours of the morning and forensic officers went in at around 10am.
The quantities found were so vast police had to jump up and down in the skip to make it fit.
A police spokesman confirmed a cannabis factory had been found but would not comment further.
